Support Groups

COA has over three hundred members/caregivers in five provinces. It is through the support groups that caregivers discuss the nature of their children’s disabilities and challenges they face in trying to cope with responsibilities of parenting and that of functioning in the society. Armed with real issues affecting these women, the organization advocates for learning opportunities, job creation and better living conditions of the caregivers and the disabled. It serves as a resource platform for various issues concerning developmental disabilities.
